The market town of Clun is within a mile from the cottages.
The town has several pubs, a post office, 2 cafes, a hairdresser
and craft shops, a Norman castle and a fourteenth century
bridge over the River Clun.
The farm is within
easy reach of historic Ludlow, the Welsh Border country
and striking Long Mynd. Ironbridge Gorge Museum is around
30 minutes drive and Acton Scott Farm Museum is just ten
miles away.

Ludlow
The ruins of its castle dominate Ludlow, a mediaeval market
town in South Shropshire. The town is renown for its quality
eating places, plus market and a collection of antique shops.
